Two men, aged 35 and 39, have been charged following the discovery of a large cannabis farm in the Co Down area.

Both men have been charged with a number of offences including cultivating cannabis and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

They are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, February 6, for a first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
