A 53-year-old man arrested by detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) following a search in east Belfast on Wednesday, September 7, has been charged to court.

He was charged with a number of offences including possession of a class A drug and being concerned in the supply of a class A controlled drug and is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on October 4.

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

During the PCTF operation, suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately £15,000 was seized.

Detectives also recovered a hydraulic press, mixing agents, a vacuum bag sealer and other items used in the supply of drugs by east Belfast UVF.
