Police have charged a 26-year-old woman with a number of offences including grievous bodily harm, robbery and theft.

She is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, March 14, for a first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges relate to the robbery of a woman in her 90s in the Castle Lane area of Belfast City Centre on Thursday, March 10.
