DETECTIVES have charged a man with attempted murder.

The 32-year-old is due to face Coleraine Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, February 28, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charge is in relation to a stabbing incident which occurred at the Cushendall Road area of Ballymena on Sunday, February 27.
