MAN TO FACE COURT OVER DEATHS OF TWO MEN IN EAST BELFAST CRASH

POLICE investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the Ravenhill Road in east Belfast on Saturday night, January 22, have charged a 32-year-old man to court.

He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, and causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving.

He is due to appear via video link before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, January 24.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Two men, who were passengers in separate cars, died in the horror smash.

Police have named one of the victims as 47-year-old Jon O’Hara.

The other man has not been named at the request of his family.
