Detectives investigating a fatal house fire which occurred in the Parkview area of Newry on Friday, May 21, 2021 have charged a 42-year-old man with murder and arson with intent to endanger life.

He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 9, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
