DETECTIVES investigating a stabbing incident in the Mill Street area of Newtownards on Saturday,  October 30, have charged a 22 year old man with grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

He is due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, November 1, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
