Detectives investigating incidents, including a vehicle hijacking in south Belfast on Tuesday, October 26, have charged a man with a number of offences, including hijacking, assault on police, robbery and criminal damage.

The 26-year-old is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, October 27.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
