SEAN SCOTT has been appointed Director of Marketing for Irish-owned pizza chain Four Star Pizza.

In his new role, Sean will be responsible for maximising sales and exposure for the Four Star Pizza brand and its franchisees across the island of Ireland, a total of 60 stores including 15 in Northern Ireland.

Sean brings a wealth of marketing experience to the role, most recently as Brand Manager at Burger King in Ireland, where for the past four years he has successfully co-ordinated all branding and marketing activity for the fast-food giant and its extensive franchisee network in the Republic of Ireland.

A strong background in advertising has also seen Sean work with many of the country’s biggest companies and household brands, including Avonmore, Flahavan’s, Carlsberg, Bank of Ireland, ESB Networks, Electric Ireland, AIG, Newstalk, Saint Gobain, HSE and MINI.

Sean is very much looking forward to taking up his new position with Ireland’s biggest indigenous pizza company.

“I am very excited to be joining Four Star Pizza and I look forward to working with the company and its franchisees to grow the brand further and increase its already significant footprint across Ireland,” said Sean.

“Having started out in the FMCG sector in 2009, the experience I have gained since then has prepared me for this exciting opportunity, especially my last four and a half years at Burger King, running the company’s marketing activities throughout the Republic of Ireland.”

Four Star Pizza Ireland opened its first store in Crumlin, Dublin, in 1986.

Now the brand employs more than 1,000 people across its 60 stores.
