MAN CHARGED OVER NORTH BELFAST MURDER BID

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch have charged a 37-year-old man with attempted murder.

It follows an incident at a property in the Cliftonville Road area of north Belfast which occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning, Tuesday, October 5.

The man is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday October 6, for a first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
