OFFICERS from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force have charged a 32-year-old man with possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, October 12.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

The charges are in connection with a number of searches which were conducted yesterday, Wednesday, September 15, as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs criminality linked to East Belfast UVF.
