Police arrested a 45-year-old woman following an incident in Bangor yesterday, Thursday, September 9.

Sergeant Catherine McTaggart said: “Officers located a quantity of suspected Class A drugs, along with a quantity of suspected cannabis and other drug related paraphernalia.

“The white powder is suspected to be cocaine, with an estimated street value of £18,000.

“Officers were able to seize this and ensure it did not reach the public and cause significant harm.

“The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply and cultivation of cannabis and was subsequently bailed pending further enquiries.”
