A 33 year old man has been charged with possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a class A controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class C controlled drug. 

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 16.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in connection with a search of a property in east Belfast yesterday, Thursday 19 August, by Officers from the PSNI’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force, investigating the suspected criminal activities of East Belfast UVF.
