POLICE in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a 10-year-old girl yesterday evening (17 August).

Chief Inspector Moore said: “Shortly after 5.30pm, we received a report that a child had been involved in a collision with a car in the Carnmoney Road area of Glengormley.

“The girl was taken to hospital where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage that could help with enquiries, is asked to get in touch with police on 101, quoting reference number 1384 of 17/08/21.”
