A 42-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary.

He is expected to appear in Belfast Magistrate’s Court today, Saturday, July 31.

As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charge follows an incident in the Curzon Street area of south Belfast yesterday morning, Friday, July 30, during which a male broke into a house armed with a knife.
