A 47-year-old man has been charged to appear at Ballymena Magistrates Court today, Thursday, July 15.
He has been charged with two counts of engaging in an aggressive commercial practice and eight counts of fraud by false representation.
The charges relate to a number of incidents which occurred from May 17th up until July 12th in which several people were the victims of fraud.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
Police would encourage members of the public to continue to exercise vigilance with regards to potential scams or fraudulent activity.
