Detectives are appealing for information following a report of assault at the Castle Street area of Belfast on Wednesday, July 7.

Detective Sergeant Wilson said: “At around 9:50pm, it was reported that a man in his 20s was assaulted by a number of males in the area.

“The man was taken to hospital for his injuries following the incident.

“Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2095 07/07/21.
