POLICE olice are currently in attendance following a report of a suspicious object in North Belfast.

It was found at the Shore Road area of Newtownabbey this afternoon, Friday, June 11.

A number of homes have been evacuated while the object is examined by ATO.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative main route for their journey.
