A 47 year old man and two woman aged 48 and 38 years old have been charged with drug supply and money laundering offences.
All three are due to appear via video link on Monday 31st May charged to Newtownards Magistrates’ Court.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to an ongoing investigation into an organised crime gang, which resulted in the seizure of class B drugs with a potential street value of £1.2 million pounds and approximately £160,000 in cash.
A car was stopped at Junction One in Antrim by detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit with follow up searches of properties in Ards, Bangor and Donaghadee.
