Detectives in Musgrave have charged a 30-year-old man with a number of offences including rioting, throwing a petrol bomb, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of Class C controlled substance.

He is due to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court this morning, April 13, for a first remand hearing.

The following offences are in connection with disorder on North Queen Street on Friday, April 9.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
