MAN CHARGED OVER DOUBLE STABBING IN WEST BELFAST

Detectives investigating stabbing incidents in west Belfast in the early hours of Monday, April 12 have charged a 39-year-old man with three counts of common assault, threats to damage property, threats to kill and criminal damage.

He is due to appear at Belfast MC on Tuesday 13th April.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The man was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and aggravated vehicle taking and has been released on bail pending further police enquiries in relation to these offences.
