A 32 year old man has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, two counts of threats to kill, threats to damage property and possession of a handgun without certificate.
He is due to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday 1st March. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
It is understood the charges are in relation to an incident which happened occurred in the Killynure Green area of Carryduff on Saturday, February 27.
