MAN CRITICAL AFTER NORTH BELFAST SHOOTING

A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital after being shot in north Belfast on Sunday night.

Police received a report of the shooting in Hopewell Crescent just off the Crumlin Road at about 11.15 pm.

“A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical,” police said.

“We would urge anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have any information which may assist us to contact 101.”
