
Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an aggravated burglary at a property in the Radnor Street area of Belfast on the evening of Monday, 23 November.
At approximately 11.10pm police received a report that a man and woman had been assaulted in their home.
The woman had answered a knock at the door when a number of men pushed her back inside her property. She was then punched about the head.
The male occupant was assaulted by approximately 4 to 5 men.
It is believed one of his assailants had a metal type baton. He was struck about the head and body.
The living-room and kitchen of the property were also ransacked.
