Detectives are appealing for information following a report of shots fired at a property in the Blenheim Drive area of Newtownards on Sunday night (August 9th).

It was reported that a number of shots were fired through the front door of the house shortly after 11.30 pm on Sunday evening.

There were no reports of any injuries and enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.

Detectives would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident, to contact them in Bangor on 101 quoting reference number 2558 09/08/20.
