TWO MEN ARRESTED OVER ATTACK ON NORTH BELFAST FLAT

DETECTIVES have arrested two men following an incident at a flat at Baltic Avenue in north Belfast on Monday 1st June.

It was reported to police, just before 9pm on Monday evening, that two men had entered an unoccupied flat in the area armed with a baseball bat and a knife and caused considerable damage to the property.

Officers attended and a short time later arrested two men aged 38 and 39 on suspicion of a number of offences including aggravated burglary with intent to cause unlawful damage.

Both men remain in custody assisting with police enquiries.
