TEEN TO FACE COURT ON STAB MURDER BID CHARGE

DETECTIVES investigating a vicious assault with a knife at an address on the Antrim Road in north Belfast on Wednesday, May 13, have charged a 17-year-old male. 

He is charged with attempted murder, aggravated burglary and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The teen is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, May 14, for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
