DETECTIVES investigating a serious assault in the Arundel Walk area of west Belfast on Tuesday 14 April have charged a man with grievous bodily harm with intent.

The 26-year-old is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, April 16.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 19-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
