TWO TRAILERS LADEN WITH SOFT DRINKS STOLEN

DETECTIVES in Lisburn investigating the theft of two trailers from premises in Hillsborough are appealing for information and witnesses.

Detective Inspector Dan Kelly said: “We received a report at 11:30am last Saturday (4th April) that two trailers filled with soft drinks products had been stolen from premises in the Aghnatrisk Road area sometime after 10:30pm the previous evening (Friday 3rd April).

“The first trailer is a Schmitz, navy/dark blue Euroliner curtainsider; marked ODT108 with Chassis Number BJ206.

“The second trailer is 4.3m tall and a curtainsider with ‘Annaveigh Plants’ written in yellow and white on the side, marked ODT64 with Chassis Number BJ1872.

“Both trailers, and their contents, remain outstanding at this time.

“The theft of these two trailers was conducted under the cover of darkness, and would have involved significant effort and we believe they were moved approximately an hour apart.

“I am appealing to anyone who believes they may have seen these trailers being moved, or knows of their whereabouts, or saw any suspicious activity in the area from 10:30pm last Friday night to get in touch with us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who is offered any soft drinks products for sale in suspicious circumstances to get in touch with detectives in Lisburn on 101, quoting reference number 534 of 04/04/20 or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
