MAN TO FACE COURT OVER PLOT TO STEAL ATM MACHINES

DETECTIVES investigating the theft of a double ATM machine from the Tesco store in Antrim during the early hours of Friday morning, December 6, and other recent thefts of ATMs, have charged a 28 year old man with conspiracy to steal and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

He is expected to appear before Antrim Magistrates’ Court this afternoon on Tuesday, December 10.

The courthouse is just a few hundred yards from the Tesco store where two ATM machines were stolen by crooks.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
