DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch investigating the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at Muckamore Abbey hospital have arrested a 33 year old male.

The suspect was detained this morning, Monday, December 2, in the Antrim area.

There are no further details at this time.

He is the third person to bee arrested by detectives who has spend month examining thousands of hours of CCTV footage from the hospital.
