A 24 year old man has been charged with robbery, assault on a police designated person and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, November 26.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to a robbery at a shop in the Dublin Road area of Belfast on Sunday, November 24.
