A 22 year old woman has been charged with attempted murder and common assault.
She is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Tuesday 19th November.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
For guidance – the charges are in relation to a serious assault at the Windmill Gardens area of Ballynahinch in the early hours of Sunday 17th November.
A 26 year old man has been released on police bail pending further enquiries, with two men aged 40 years old and 20 years old remain in police custody at this time.
