TWO TO FACE COURT OVER £20K HEROIN SEIZURE BY POLICE IN SOUTH BELFAST

TWO men aged 34 and 32 years old man have been over a £20,000 heroin seizure in Belfast.

The pair have been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class C controlled drug.

Both are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday, November 16.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to the seizure of suspected heroin with an estimated street value of £20,000.

It followed a pre-planned search at a property in the Fitzroy Avenue area of south Belfast yesterday (Friday 15th November) by officers from the PSNI’s Belfast District Support Team.
