POLICE are currently in attendance at a security alert in the area of the Glenalina Gardens, west Belfast following the report of a suspicious object this morning.

Road cordons are in place at Glenalina Road and Glenalina Crescent, a number of homes have been evacuated with residents being accommodated at Whiterock Leisure Centre.
