DETECTIVES investigating a report of a petrol bomb being thrown at a property on Sunday, June 16, have charged a man with a number of offences.
The petrol bomb attack happened in the Lewis Park area of Ballymena.
The 31 year old man has been charged with criminal damage, attempted arson endangering life, possessing petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances and a number of motoring offences.
He is expected to appear before Antrim Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Tuesday, July 2.
It is understood the suspect was arrested in the Antrim area earlier today, Monday, July 1.
