DETECTIVES are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two people in Poleglass of west Belfast.

Paramedics were called to the scene in the Woodside Drive area at about 11 am today, Thursday, June 20.

However, a woman and a man were found dead.

It is understood the woman was found dead downstairs by ambulance crews who arrived at the house.

A search located the body of a man upstairs.

Police have cordoned off the area as forensic teams examine the scene to determine exactly what happened.

Post mortems are due to be carried out to determine the exact cause of their deaths.
