FOUR CHARGED OVER BURGLARY SPREE ACROSS BELFAST

FOUR men have been charged with a number of offences including burglary and attempted burglary.

They are face at Belfast Magistrates court on Monday, May 6 for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Detective Inspector Keith Wilson said: “These burglaries occurred in the Bawnmore Road; Strangford Avenue; Glengoland Gardens; Deramore Park south and Riverdale Park south areas of Belfast between 3.50pm and 8.20pm yesterday.

“Four males were later arrested when officers stopped a car in the Donegall Road area of Belfast on Friday night.”
