A MAN is to face a court this morning after police foiled the theft of an ATM machine yesterday in Co Antrim.
Detective Inspector Richard Thornton said: “Detectives investigating the theft of an ATM at Nutts Corner in the early hours of yesterday (Tuesday 30th April) have charged a 31-year-old man with theft and other offences.
“He will appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday, May 1.
“As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
“A second man arrested yesterday, aged 26, remains in custody assisting police with enquiries. “
