POLICE say a man has been arrested over a robbery at a pharmacy in the Newtownards Road area of eat Belfast this afternoon, Friday, April 26.

PSNI Constable Sam McCann posted: “The offender made off from the location and he was intercepted by a number of police crews attending the incident.

“He has been arrested and is now in police custody.

“Police would appeal to any staff members in pharmacies in the area who may have noticed any suspicious behaviour or a suspicious male in their premises recently to contact police on 101.”
