DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have this evening launched a murder inquiry.

The probe was launched following the discovery of the body of a man at a house in the Church Road area of Glenwherry this afternoon,Tuesday, February 19.

The PSNI say that inquires are “ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding his death”.

However, it is understood the victim had been blasted to death.
