THE PSNI say three people have been arrested over dissident republican activity.

Two men aged 65 and 48 and a 61 year old woman were detained today in the Springfield Road area of West Belfast under section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

They were arrested by detectives from PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit earlier today on suspicion of dissident republican activity.

The suspects have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
