POLICE have arrested a 42-year-old man under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act after a vehicle was stopped in west Belfast.

He was detained around 10 pm last night, Tuesday, October 2.

A number of items were taken away for forensic examination.

The man is currently being quizzed at the serious crime custody suite in Musgrave police station.
