DETECTIVES are appealing for information following the report of a robbery and the theft of a vehicle yesterday.

It happened in the Wellington Park Terrace area south Belfast on Tuesday, July 31.

Police say that at approximately 10.10 pm as a man parked and alighted from his vehicle he was confronted by a man who had a hammer who demanded the keys to the vehicle.

This man along with another unknown male then drove off in the stolen vehicle in the direction of Wellington Park.

Detectives would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact detectives at Musgrave PSNI Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1478 31/07/18.
