POLICE CHARGE FOUR MEN AND TWO WOMEN WITH CLASS A DRUG OFFENCES

DETECTIVES have charged four men aged 21, 23, 30 and 59 and two women, aged 26 and 46 with a number of drug-related offences.

This includes being concerned in the supply of Class A Controlled Drugs, possession of Class A Controlled Drugs, possession of Class A Controlled Drugs with intent to supply and supply of Class A Controlled Drugs.

All six are due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, June 9 for a first remand hearing.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges follow the search of properties in the Coleraine area yesterday, Thursday 7 June.

A 17-year-old female was also arrested and has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
