DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation have arrested a couple this morning under section 41 of the Terrorism Act.

TIU detectives made the arrests as part of ongoing investigating violent dissident republican activity.

A number or searches were carried out this morning in the North Belfast and Dunmurry areas.

A 38 year old woman and a 35 year old man have been arrested under the Terrorism Act.

They have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave for questioning.
