MAN QUIZZED OVER ‘GUN’ INCIDENT AT POLLING STATION

POLICE are investigating reports a man pulled out a gun at a polling station today.

The incident happened at a polling station in Greencastle during the West Tyrone by-election.

The PSNI say officers arrested a 59 year old man on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or alarm.

He has been taken into custody for questioning.

Further searches as part of the investigation are ongoing.
