MUSGRAVE PICKS UP FOUR INDUSTRY AWARDS

Four Awards For Musgrave! Musgrave won ‘Best CSR Initiative/Charity Partnership’ for its long-standing relationship with local charity, Action Cancer, they were named ‘Green Retailer of the Year’ for their commitment to a sustainable future, SuperValu were ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Best In-Store Consumer Sales Promotion’ category for its SuperValu Let’s Cook campaign, whilst the SuperValu and Centra Meal Solutions campaign was also ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ category.

MUSGRAVE and its leading independent retailers, SuperValu and Centra cleaned up at a recent awards ceremony when they picked up a total of four industry awards for their work in Northern Ireland. 

Musgrave won two categories, being named ‘Green Retailer of the Year’ for the development of its ambitious new three-year sustainability strategy, and the ‘Best CSR Initiative/Charity Partnership’ title for its long-standing relationship with local charity, Action Cancer. 

Top convenience retailer SuperValu received a highly commended accolade in the ‘Best In-Store Consumer Sales Promotion’ category for its SuperValu Let’s Cook campaign, whilst the SuperValu and Centra Meal Solutions campaign was also highly commended in the ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ category.

Musgrave’s Marketing Director, Desi Derby, commented: “We’re delighted to be recognised for our work across both our SuperValu and Centra brands at the leading grocery marketing awards in Northern Ireland.

 “It truly was a fantastic night for Musgrave as we were highly commended for our SuperValu Let’s Cook and SuperValu and Centra ‘Meal Solutions’ campaigns. 

“In fact, we took home more awards than any other shortlisted company, something we’re very proud of.” 

 The Ulster Grocer Marketing Awards took place at the Culloden Estate and Spa on Friday 27 April and were hosted by TV personality, Clare McCollum.
