ROAD IN NORTH BELFAST REOPENS AFTER SECURITY ALERT

THE PSNI have reopened a road in North Belfast after an earlier security alert was cleared.

Police had warned residents of suspicious objects left in the area of North Queen Street on Wednesday night.

The road was closed on Thursday morning, between the Limestone Road and Mervue Street,but police advised at 1.30 pm that the alert was over.
