COPS have swooped today to make two further arrests in a child sex abuse scandal.

Police say that officers from the PSNI’s Public Protection Branch have today, Tuesday 10 April arrested a 58 year old man from Belfast and 39 year old woman from Downpatrick.

This is in relation to an investigation into allegations of serious historical sexual child abuse in the Co. Down area. 

The pair have been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite to assist police with their enquiries.
